[the traveler has appeared on the edge of town along the road. anyone in the surrounding buildings may have heard it chirping and calling out as it runs toward the town square. and anyone it encounters along the way will have a close to three foot tall red cloaked creature running circles around them.

[Oho, he noticed. Billy's lips quirk into a brief smile, then he shifts the sound into a whistle instead, to see if he's more perceptive to that. So many options! Communicating via sound is so cool- it would be even if he wasn't a music nerd. Which he is, thankfully.]

[okay, no meditation. the traveler stands up and looks at her, waiting for a moment, then it turns and runs a few paces off only to turn back again and look at her.

[this is weird, but eh, it's not so bad. and its cloak is being slowly charged from being in such close proximity. it glows softly, even if it isn't picking up much energy, and the traveler nuzzles Ikki's cheek. hello strange creature, hello!]

[Loki notices the shift in the Traveler's slight weight. He turns that way... ah, a mountain. Well, all right. He heads toward it.]

Ikki would ask, but she's already figured out they don't exactly communicate on the same level. She nuzzles her cheek back against the traveler, and loosens her grip, staring at it curiously. ]

Is that good or bad? Are you gonna explode?

[And follow she does, even though she pauses for a moment at the edge of the woods. The last thing she wants to do is get lost in there again. But...she didn't want to leave the traveler alone either. It obviously had something it wanted to show her.]

[the mountain is far in the distance, but the traveler has seen further. it has traveled many long distances to get to the mountain and as long as Loki is willing, it will travel with him. it goes quiet, looking up at the mountain as it peeks over the trees.

[it looks back at him for a moment and then leans forward, trying to nuzzle his face. hello, teacher. are we having a staring contest??]

[when it hears her sing, it stops and turns back, looking to see if she's found something or is simply asking it to wait.

it tilts its head and waits for her, wondering if she wants to come along after all or wishes to turn back]

[nope, nope no exploding. it keeps glowing, but it doesn't seem to do much other than glow and send a soft feel of warmth. it looks up at Ikki, tilting its head since it can't move much else.]
